Refund policy

We strive to ensure we sell only quality products, and care for all products in our store and those shipped to you.
This refund, exchange and returns policy applies to online and in store purchases. It lasts five working days after the date of purchase, or 48 hours after the item is received, whichever is shorter.
To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is required, preferably by providing your order acknowledgment or shipping confirmation email. You must be the original purchaser and owner of the purchasing method.
Determining whether a return, refund, or exchange is a result of meeting our consumer guarantee or a consumer change of mind is at our sole discretion.
For products missing components and for damage within a factory-sealed product when the outer packaging is not damaged, we may suggest that you contact the manufacturer. They will often cover your shipping costs and sometimes provide something extra to apologise for the inconvenience. This is offered as an alternative to your consumer rights in the Australian Consumer Law, as some manufacturers provide additional customer service available to end users that are not offered to us as a retailer. These do not replace your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Items with prices that fluctuate based on supply, demand, playability or ban lists may not be returned if any of these events are deemed to have affected the item's price between the time of purchase and return request.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
- Any product that has been picked up in store and has obvious signs of use, is not in its original condition, or has damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is received by us more than 10 working days after delivery, or has been restocked after your refund request due to you not sending the item in a timely manner, or via appropriate means
- Items that have received a reduced sale price after your purchase
Change of Mind
In the instance in which customers have changed their mind after placing their order or purchasing items in store, we are still able to accommodate a return in order to process a refund as long as:
- The returned item(s) are sealed and in brand new condition;
- Proof of purchase is provided (receipt or order number);
- The return or refund request is within 72 hours of the product being collected in store or 72 hours from time of receipt; and
- The item is not a Trading Card or Trading Card Game item.
Reasons for which change of mind is not accepted include but are not limited to:
- No longer wanting an item
- Poor research on your behalf
- Wrongful purchase
- Misuse of payment options
- Already owning an item
- Fluctuations in price due to demand/competitive play use/bans
Plenty of Games reserves the right to refuse a change of mind request as per the ACCC. In a situation in which Plenty of Games accepts a change of mind request, the item will be refunded to store credit only.
Note: Any return postage and initial postage will be covered by the buyer. Exceptions may apply.
All change of mind refunds will be checked by staff to ensure they meet the above terms and require approval by Plenty of Games and its staff before a refund can be initiated.
Returns that are found to have been opened, used or damaged will not be eligible for refund or exchange, and will be held until the customer returns to collect the product or repay the appropriate shipping fees to have the item resent via post.
If return postage is not paid within 30 days of being received by Plenty of Games, the product will be considered abandoned and we will dispose of it.
Abandoned Orders
An order is considered abandoned if it has not been collected within 60 days from the date of written notice of our intent to dispose of uncollected goods. Abandoned orders are subject to disposal by the seller, Plenty of Games. Abandoned orders valued at less than $20 are considered forfeit. When calculating refunds, a 25% or $20 reshelving fee applies to abandoned orders, whichever is greater.
Shipping/Pick Up Errors
In an instance where shipping has been selected as the method of collection and the customer wishes to change to pick up, a message must be sent as soon as possible via email or our text service to request the change. The original purchase/order number must be included in the request.
All shipping fees will be refunded to store credit. If the request is made after the order is packed and a tracking number is generated, any associated shipping fees are ineligible for refund.
In an instance where pick up has been selected as the method of collection and the customer wishes to change to delivery, a message must be sent as soon as possible via email or our text service to request the change.
An invoice for shipping will be sent to the email attached to the original order. All shipping fees incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer to pay.
Event Tickets
In the event that you are unable to attend an event and have purchased a ticket in advance, please contact us via email no later than 24 hours prior to the event so that we can release your ticket and make it available for another player. In this instance, the ticket will be refunded to the original form of payment.
If you possess a ticket and do not attend your event and did not send prior notice of your intended absence, your ticket will be subject to a 15% no-show fee. No-show tickets will be refunded via store credit only.
Pre-Ordered Items
Pre-ordered products at Plenty of Games are not eligible for refunds.
Refund Payment
Refunds will be processed via the original form of payment where applicable.
Note: Funds may take a few business days to clear after a refund confirmation has been issued.
If you received the wrong item or an item you didn’t order: Please contact us at shop@plentyofgames.com.au to discuss any issues or errors with your order and we will work to make it right as quickly as possible.
In the event that a refund is granted, you will be responsible for paying any credit card fees the provider charges us. We can deduct this from the amount refunded to you.
Late or missing refunds
Some banks take time to process refund requests. If you haven’t received your refund within five working days of confirmation that we are refunding your purchase, contact us to confirm it has been submitted on our end.

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
It is highly recommended you select a trackable shipping service and purchase insurance when returning items. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
